Practice Areas: Family Practice, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN and Psychiatry

Specialists: Yes; Specialists are considered, but primary care is prioritized and the need for a specialist must be well documented. Letters from the facility and demonstrated need should be provided to show eligibility before a full application is submitted. Flex-10 applications should document the number of similar positions in the county, define the demographics, and describe the effects of not having the position in the community. OSDH will determine if the application is in the best interest of the community to assure health care access advancement.

Application Review: Rolling Review based on applications received 10/1 until full

Notes: Only 2 slots will be given to any single county per year and only 1 slot per employer per year.
